Burberry’s rain boot is not a cheap rain boot, not in price nor in quality, these boots are top of the line and will last you a very long time as long as you take good care of them. Closet accessories are practical items that help organize your closet space in a better way. They allow you to utilize the available closet space in a much more practical manner. You no longer need to stack layer upon layer of clothes on a single shelf and then struggle to pull out a single shirt because it is stuck in the middle of a huge stack. Proper utilization of closet accessories will make your life easier.

Neckties are always a bit if a nuisance to store in a closet. You either fold them up and stuff them somewhere or hang them with your clothes and hope that you wouldn’t have to pick them off the bottom of the closet the next time around. Either way, picking out a matching necktie would not be quite so pleasant. Tie racks would be the closet accessories to sort out this mess. You can get a tie hanger that is built to accommodate multiple neckties into one hanging space. The neckties will be spaced out enough for you to be able to get a quick overview of which necktie you would need for the day. There are also tie hangers that can swing out from the closet and swing back in when you are done choosing.

Picking out a shoe storage system for your closet would help organize your space even further – especially when you own a lot of shoes. There are closet accessories that hang on the back of the closet door where you can hang shoes. You can also opt for the swiveling system where the shoe rack can be swiveled out when you need to choose a pair of shoes and then swiveled back in for storage. There are also specialized shoe drawers that can be installed into your closet as well.

Many other closet accessories are available on the market. All you need to do is plan your closet space well and then choose the right accessories to execute your plan. A well-planned and accessorized closet will present you with plenty of storage space that is easily accessed.

There are many favorite black hair styles around like braided, locks, sleek and straight, curly, short and funky or twisted and intricate hair styles. Whatever hairstyle you wish to choose, it is important to pay special attention to your facial features and bone structure. This is because some of the black hair styles can take your most beautiful facial features and make them even more stunning!

One thing to remember for the perfect black hair style is to take account of your build. For example, a close cropped black hair style does not suit one with a large frame. So remember to just make sure that your style and frame balance each other! The shape of the face too has to be taken into consideration when choosing the correct black hair style. Basically, there are five face shapes; oval, round, square, heart and rectangular. Whatever face shape you may have, it is better to choose a hair style that makes your face appear more oval. The reason the oval face is identified as the best facial shape is because of the perfect symmetry of some of the facial features it has, like the distance from the lips to the bottom of the chin.

If you do have a heart shaped face, you can make it appear more oval by positioning the weight of the black hair style at chin level. For those with round faces, it is best to minimize the cheekbones with some height in the bang. For square faces, it is better to have a hair style with short edges and texture directed towards the face. And for those with triangular shaped faces, more height and fullness should be present at the crown. With these generalized hints on black hair styles, you should go to a beauty parlor to get your hair cut accordingly!

    Humble Beginnings

The Robert Daskal Group had its humble beginnings in the 1930s. It was known as a retail company named Besleys. In the downtown Chicago area there were three stores, and the company made a name for itself by having many yards of printed Italian silk imported and then making pocket squares, neckties and jacket linings for loyal customers. These men would not buy a suit without making sure that they could get a Besleys tie to match. This company was well known for its variety of designs and patterns, making neckwear for most of Chicago’s prominent businessmen from 1930 until the present day under the name of the Robert Daskal Group.

In the early 1980’s, Robert Daskal was the person who bought the original Besleys Company. One of the first changes that were made to the business was closing its retail stores that sold neckties. However, one of the things that kept this company afloat was that it imported fabrics and created a printed collection of neckties that it made available not only to department stores but to private customers as well.

    Hand Painted Neckwear

Besleys was always able to maintain the capability of hand painting its own silk. Many of these men’s ties were produced in the 1930’s and 1940’s when the fashion rage for men was hand painted silk neckwear. In 1988, Robert Daskal was approached by a leading menswear store that was known for its cutting edge designs to see if his company could come up with a complete collection of silk neckties that were hand painted to see if this would become a hit in the well dressed man. Twenty-five ties were created, hand painted and hand sewn and were delivered to the store on a Friday. By Monday morning, they were just about depleted. A totally new way of doing business emerged!

Daskal hired students from the School of Art Institute in Chicago in order to keep up with the demand of neckwear needed. They helped to design as well as produce the collections. Many other retail stores jumped on the bandwagon and Besleys then changed its name to the Robert Daskal Group. It created four new collections a year for such stores as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Marshall Fields and Saks. The student artists could not keep up with the supply and demand so full time that artists were hired to take the place of the students. Many of these full time employees still work for Robert Daskal, and it is now more than twenty years later.

    The Tradition Continues Today

The Robert Daskal Group is honored to be only one of a handful of designers and manufacturers of high quality fine silk accessories that are based here in the United States. It is an established leader in the realm of one-of-a-kind quality hand-painted silk accessories and neckties. Their products sell in fine establishments all across the globe. These ties and accessories provide a colorful and fresh alternative statement when it comes to men’s fashion. Robert Daskal was born and raised in Chicago and he was determined to keep his company based there. As years went by, there was a temptation to produce products offshore, but Daskal would not take his business out of Chicago. The designing, painting as well as fabricating continues to be done in the Chicago area.

Each man has his own style and personality. What he wears and the way he carries himself can pretty much tell you what his taste and preferences are – from his car, to his gadgets, to his perfume, and to his wardrobe. What you see on him and with him can pretty much give you an idea of what would be a perfect gift to give him.

Men have different personalities, as mentioned. Possible gifts, as well, are endless since there is a wide array for each kind of men’s gifts. It wouldn’t be difficult to give a guy a gift if you’ve known him for quite sometime. But in situations where once has to give a gift to a man he or she hardly knows, there are a few “safe” gifts to give which will still surely be appreciated (Besides, as the old adage goes, “It’s the thought that counts.”)

So, here’s a rundown of the possible gifts to give to him:

    1. Wallet – the safest gift for all occasions. There is a wide array of wallet designs to choose from – one for each personality. Just like ladies’ wallets, you can also choose from either a long wallet, to a short wallet, to a two-fold wallet to a three-fold wallet.

But if you want a little style to your wallet gift giving, there’s the classy money clip that you can buy, wrap in a box and tie with a bow and give as a gift.

    2. Neckties – this can be called a “semi-safe” gift since not all men wear a tie and that not all men’s jobs require them to wear a tie. But what’s good about neckties is that they have a lot o designs to choose from. All it just takes is the giver should have an “eye” to choose the right design that would fit the recipient’s personality.

    3. Watches – Watches are memorable and timeless. From simple ones to the most expensive kind, one can definitely pick from a great variety depending on the budget and what would fit the recipient’s personality.

    4. Perfume – just like watches, neckties and other accessories, is a strong indication of a man’s style. Give him the perfect perfume and he’ll surely thank you for your right choice of scent.

    5. Cufflinks – the classic and timeless gift to any man. It comes in different styles and designs, each matching every occasion – be it formal or casual. Cufflinks are not only considered men’s accessories. With the designs made by jewelers nowadays, cufflinks are now considered an elegant jewelry.

    6. Sports stuff
Whether it’s indoor or outdoor sport, he will surely appreciate if you’ve taken notice of his interest by giving him a piece of his favorite sport stuff. It need not be expensive. If he loves to play golf, a handsomely designed golf shirt would be more than enough to guarantee that your gift will be appreciated.

But in case you want to splurge a little bit, there are a lot of options out there depending on what the recipient’s sport interest is – from golf accessories, to knapsacks, to hiking and trekking kits.

As with Mother’s Day, Father’s Day is a day set aside on the third Sunday of June to honor fathers around the world. The idea of a day to celebrate love and admiration for one’s father was almost concurrently observed in two different places in the United States, possibly as early as July of 1908 in West Virginia and in 1910 in Washington State, when a woman by the name of Sonora Smart Dodd, having been brought up by and very close to her father, paid tribute for him in June of 1910, the month he was born. She subsequently solicited the idea of having an official Father’s Day observance to honor all fathers. It was made a federal holiday many years later in 1966 by President Lyndon Johnson.

As early as the 1930’s people honored their fathers in June with gifts as a token of their love. Accessories such as men’s neckties were and continue to be a wonderful way show your admiration for your dad. Not just any tie, but the right one really sends the right message to the recipient. Novelty themes reflecting your dad’s hobbies and interests, even a Father’s Day message, are a good way to go. Going vintage is a great way to show how unique dad is and today’s modern accessories are an appropriate way to add to a collection of neckwear he already likes to wear.

Novelty ties are a perfect choice for the man who likes to share his interests with others. The choices are endless. Young fathers will appreciate the Save the Children line of neckwear which is based on artwork submitted by other children. Cartoon characters are also ideal, and allow the father and child to bond. The larger the image, the more youthful it appears. As children grow up and become adults, those with fathers who don’t mind reflecting a hobby on a tie can choose smaller overall patterns that become recognizable at close proximity. This makes for a more understated and sophisticated appearance while still reflecting the fun side of dad.

Some novelty neckties hold no bars with a message printed right onto the fabric, such as “#1 Dad”. They really send the message home, although they are also holiday specific and would not get as much wear.

Vintage neckwear offers a lot of options. They were produced many years ago and any given one is hard to find, making it as one-of-a-kind as dad. Skinny ties are popular, and dad may fondly remember when he first wore one. He may still pine for such an accessory, so a vintage find from the 50’s, 60’s and 80’s would bring back many fond memories and show dad how in tune you are with his taste. It really is about finding a Father’s Day gift which not only shows your love but will also be something he loves.

If novelty themes are not the answer, it is a good idea to look through dad’s collection to see what he likes to wear best. Perhaps foulard patterns or stripes are a favorite. Some men only purchase floral and paisley patterns. Whatever the case may be, go with what he likes of else he will never wear the tie you pick out. Remember, it’s what he prefers, not what you happen to like.

Finding the right men’s tie makes for a perfect Father’s Day gift because it shows that you took the time to really think about who your dad is as a person. The loving gesture will most certainly be appreciated.

Everyone’s worried about the economy last year and this year, but with so many prom dresses under $100, you won’t have to worry. There’s dozens of styles to choose from, especially on the web!

When you think about how much all the parts of prom add up to, like hair, nails, the limo, pictures, and shoes, your head will probably start spinning. How much is all of this going to cost? Well, thankfully, at least there are many under $100 prom dresses, so that huge expense won’t be there!

Besides being a secure and discreet transaction, order your 2009 prom dress over the internet is easy. Many websites will ask for your measurements to ensure that your dress fits well when it arrives. When you order online, you’ll be joining over 50,000 girls a month that choose to order their prom dresses this way.

Prom dress technology (if you can call it that) has improved for 2009. Websites such as TJ Formal now allow you to enter in your waist, hips, bust, and other measurements to get a perfect fit right out of the box. There are also online dress-size-estimators if you don’t know your dress size that are based upon your measurements. All that needs to happen now is for a virtual dress to be projected onto your body and we’ll all be futuristic!

Instead of feeling cheap or cheated, you can feel proud, accomplished, and beautiful with your new prom dress under $100. There are so many styles and colors to choose from this year that you will always find what you need. The styles available aren’t rejects from other years, either – they are very similar to existing designer dresses, but for $200-$300 less!

How do you find the perfect prom dress under $100? Here are some great tips that will help you pick the right one:

    - Spend 10 minutes visiting your local tailor shop or dress store, and get all your measurements taken. Make sure you know your bust size, waist, hips, inseam, etc. Write down all the info or put it in your phone to keep with you when you’re shopping online.

    - If you’re not honest with yourself about your measurements, you’re only fooling yourself. Of course your measurements are a very private thing, but you have to listen to your body and get the right dress that FITS YOU WELL. I know I want to look my best when I wear a dress – I want to be beautiful, confident, sexy, and make my guy’s eyes pop out. I want him to say, “wow”. I can’t do that if my dress is too tight, too short or long, or if it doesn’t fit me well.

    - Picking a dress that matches your personality is probably the most important aspect of truly looking your best. You don’t want your friends or the other girls saying, “wow, she’s usually so xxxx, and tonight she’s dressed like yyyy”. Be who you are, and make sure your dress reflects that. Shy girls shouldn’t wear loud, bright, skimpy dresses – all they’ll do is feel uncomfortable. Girls who are tall should wear one style, short ones another. Skinny gils don’t look good if they’re lost in a bunch of fabric, and heavier girls may not want to wear tight dresses that don’t give them room to relax and feel good. You know what suits you and is best, now go for it!

The necktie of today has its roots embedded deep in the history of the world. Several countries and cultures influenced the evolution of the men’s neckwear over several centuries. In today’s society, the necktie is still a key element in the wardrobe of a successful man, but without many of the restrictions of the past. The modern tie comes in an incredible variety of sizes, colors and designs, to match any social situation. Among these, perhaps the most radical departure from the traditional is the novelty tie. While not necessarily suitable for every occasion, these interesting and often whimsical ties are generally created with a no-holds-barred standard, even to including flashing lights and/or noisemakers.

While it may be difficult to verify the originator of the novelty tie, the trend appears to have begun in the 1940s. Many neckties from that era bear printed or hand painted designs that range from the unusual to just plain odd. Some sources credit Salvador Dali with starting the movement, when he shocked the art world by presenting his work on fine silk ties. Dali’s ties are among those most prized in our time by collectors. Several other popular artists followed suit and even today fine silk ties are produced with the work of new artists as well as that of masters like Van Gogh. These range from actual hand-painted originals to reprints of nearly any genre.

Regardless of how it began, the novelty tie soon became more than a fad. Idea after idea was sparked, and new lines were launched. American businessmen had a new way to express themselves around the office and at social events, and manufacturers soon offered more than enough expressions, from the religious to the risque. More refined cultures such as the British, were, of course, slow to accept the change.

Popular themes soon worked their way into the mix, and by the 90’s, nearly any hobby, historic event or public figure was being “immortalized” on the face of a tie. Commemorative ties have been created for virtually ever war in American and World History. Personalities such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, all the US Presidents and many more have all been printed or painted on the face of neckties. Our favorite cartoon characters, from Betty Boop to Looney Tunes are available in licensed and unlicensed versions. All the teams of the NFL, NHL, NBA, etc. and individual sports figures have all been subjects of this fashion craze.

Holidays, too, have been the launching pad for literally hundreds of necktie designs. What man hasn’t received that Christmas tie that he’s obligated to wear to the company party every year? Valentine’s Day is another favorite, as well as Halloween and even the “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” tie for St. Patrick’s Day. Whatever the occasion, chances are a novelty tie has been printed for it, in silk or polyester.

Technology, too, has had an impact on the novelty tie industry. The LED, the microchip and miniature batteries have provided us with an abundance of flashing, honking, music playing, and “pull my finger” wonders that tip the scales from the talk of the party to hidden far, far back in the closet.

The novelty tie, while not necessarily for every occasion, has become a permanent part of modern men’s fashion. Many vintage novelty ties are sought after by collectors and many powerful and successful men are known for flaunting their favorite hand-painted silk neckties.
