		<description>There is a do it yourself home dry cleaning product that I&#039;ve heard good reports on (sorry the name is escaping me)  
After getting them clean , try treating ties w a good water repellent product to help avoid future stains as they are inevitable.....I know!!  (I;ve used the 3m &amp; Quixtar repellents)</description>

lay your tie on a basin
cover the stain with salt
and moisten with lemon juice
leave for half hr
then give it a cold wash.
