Neckties In China

My partner and I were fooling around and things, as they can tend to do, got quite a bit messy – now I have a silk necktie with an embarassing stain on it – how do i remove it without damaging the necktie?

I have 2 silk neckties that have small food spots on them. I have been told that they cannot be dry-cleaned or washed traditionally since those methods remove the natural sheen of the silk. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!
